How to view your assigned jobs

Overview

If you are a Technician or Lead Technician, you may not have access to the full Jobs list. Instead, you can view jobs where you are assigned as the Job Lead or where you have tasks assigned to you. This article explains how to find and view your assigned work.

Who can access this

• Super Admin and Admin: have full access to all jobs
• Lead Technician: can view job details for jobs where they are the assigned Job Lead, and can see their own tasks across all jobs
• Technician: can view job details only for jobs where they are the assigned Job Lead; primarily works through the Tasks list and Task Scheduler

How to view your assigned jobs

As a Lead Technician:

• Navigate to Work Order → Jobs
• The jobs list will display only the jobs you have access to
• Click any job row to open the detail page

On the job detail page, you can see:

• Job details including customer name, address, and description
• The Tasks & Financials tab with tasks, estimates, and invoices linked to the job
• Notes added by you or other team members
• Job Media including photos, videos, and documents

As a Technician:

Technicians do not see the Jobs menu item in the sidebar. To find your work:

• Navigate to Work Order → Task Scheduler to see your scheduled tasks on the calendar
• From any task, click through to the parent job to view its details

What you can do on an assigned job

As a Lead Technician:

• View all job details, tasks, and financials
• Add and manage notes
• Upload media
• Update the job status (close or cancel)

As a Technician:

• View job details
• View notes and media

Tips

• If you cannot find a job, check with your admin they may need to assign you as the Job Lead
• Use the Task Scheduler calendar to get a visual overview of all your upcoming work across all jobs
• On mobile, the job detail page is organised into cards you can tap to expand each section
